Waiver roundup: Trout claim three; Mexico City adds two
Dallas also picks up Justin Boehmer in six claims across January 13–14.
Toms River collected three players on waivers over January 13–14, while Mexico City added two and Dallas picked up a reliever.
The Trout claimed Joe Wisell from Seattle on January 13, then added Mike Mendes and Alex Franco from Motown the next day. The transaction report lists Wisell at first base, Mendes in center field and Franco behind the plate.
Mexico City made both of its claims on January 13, taking Chris Tella from Ohio and Jeremy Scott from Seattle. Tella is listed at second base in the claim entry; Scott is listed in left field.
Dallas claimed reliever Justin Boehmer from Miami on January 13.
That makes six completed claims involving three receiving clubs. Toms River accounted for half of them, adding players listed at three different positions over two days.
