The designated hitter is used in both leagues. A reliever must face at least three batters.

Waiver claims run for 7 days. A player designated for assignment must be resolved within 14 days.
Injured list

Position players have a 10-day injured list; pitchers have a 15-day injured list.
Transactions
August 1, 2044 trade deadline
Confirmed for 2044; later seasons use their own calendar. Draft-pick trades are disabled. Contracts may run for up to 10 years.
Rule 5
Age 23 clears only the age test
Players under 23 are ineligible. A player who is 23 or older still needs to meet every other eligibility requirement. Rule 5 dates vary by season; use the in-game calendar for the season being viewed. The commissioner confirmed December 21, 2043 for the 2043 event only, not as a recurring date; no other season's date is confirmed here.
